Hi, I’m Erica! A light obsessed, fun-loving extrovert who is passionate about capturing your authentic moments. I am lucky to be married to my best friend and biggest supporter. We have two amazing little girls and one very energetic Bernedoodle. I’m always here for the sarcasm and reality TV. I grew up an athlete my entire life but always had a strong creative side that needed to be fulfilled.

After receiving my first camera when my eldest was born, I began documenting her life and my love of photography was ignited. As I started to dive deeper into photography I found a real passion for capturing authentic moments. I quickly realized the importance of being able to create beautiful images that not only froze time, but also made me FEEL something. I started to study light and began implementing it to enhance my images. After over a decade of working in corporate America, I decided to make the jump and follow my passion. I started Erica D. Photography officially in 2017 and never looked back!

My sessions are fun and relaxed – I want to get to know you! We will laugh, have fun and capture the organic emotions and connections you share.
